22 – 30 June 2026. Paper I + Paper II in a single 3-hour session, no break. Multi-shift and multi-session scoring is normalised via the Equi-percentile method (PDF Appendix-IX).
Released on the NTA website after the exam — candidates may raise objections within the stated window, with the prescribed processing fee per question. NTA's final decision is binding.
Subject-wise result released in percentile, along with raw and normalised marks. Three categories of qualifying are decided: Category-1 (JRF + AP + PhD), Category-2 (AP + PhD), Category-3 (PhD only).
JRF Award Letter — valid 3 years from date of issue; placement to be sought at a recognised university / IIT / institution. Assistant Professor eligibility: valid for life. Ph.D. admission marks: valid 1 year from result.
