Who reviews GovtGate content

Our editorial team includes contributors with first-hand experience of Indian competitive exams and government recruitment cycles — former coaching instructors, exam-cleared graduates, and reviewers who track official gazettes daily.

Every job posting is cross-checked against the official issuing authority (RRB, SSC, UPSC, state PSCs, banks, PSUs) before it goes live. We never republish from third-party mirrors without verifying the original notification PDF.

Our editorial standards

• Every date on a job page — notification, apply-open, apply-close, exam, admit card, result — is traced back to the official issuing authority's notification.
• Application fees, eligibility, and vacancy counts are copied from the official PDF. If we find a discrepancy after publishing, we update the page and add a visible revision note.
• Apply and PDF links point to the official government or authority domain (.gov.in, .nic.in, or the authority's own CDN). Links to third-party mirrors are not accepted.
• When an exam gets postponed or a notification is amended, we update the page within 24 hours of the official announcement.
• We do not accept payment from coaching institutes, publishers, or applicants to feature jobs, alter eligibility summaries, or change rankings.

Corrections policy

We will get things wrong sometimes — a date typo, a stale eligibility rule, a dead link. When we do, please tell us. Corrections are our highest priority: we treat a reported error as a bug and fix it ahead of new content.

How we use AI

The "Ask AI" assistant on each job page uses that job's published content to answer questions — it does not generate dates, eligibility, or links on its own. Our default FAQ and "How to Apply" sections use AI-assisted templates reviewed by a human editor before publication.
