How many total vacancies are available?

There are **25,000+ vacancies** across 9 posts: Agniveer GD, Technical, Clerk/Store Keeper, Tradesman (10th & 8th), Women Military Police, Sepoy Pharma, Nursing Assistant, and JCO Religious Teacher.

What is the minimum qualification required?

It depends on the post: **8th pass** for Tradesman (8th), **10th pass** for GD/Tradesman (10th)/WMP, **10+2** for Technical/Clerk/Nursing, **D.Pharma/B.Pharma** for Sepoy Pharma, and **Graduate** for JCO Religious Teacher.

Is the application fee same for SC/ST candidates?

**Yes.** The fee of **Rs. 250** is the same for all categories — General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS. There is no exemption.

Is there any age relaxation for reserved categories?

**No.** There is no age relaxation for Agniveer posts for any category. The prescribed age limits are strict as of 1 July 2026.

What is the CEE exam pattern?

The **Common Entrance Exam (CEE)** is an online computer-based test covering General Knowledge, General Science, Mathematics, and Reasoning. The duration is 60 minutes. Negative marking may apply.

What is the Agniveer salary structure?

Monthly salary increases each year: **1st year Rs. 30,000** → 2nd year Rs. 33,000 → 3rd year Rs. 36,500 → **4th year Rs. 40,000**. 30% of salary is contributed to the Seva Nidhi fund.

What is Seva Nidhi and how much will I get?

Seva Nidhi is a one-time **tax-free lump sum of ~Rs. 11.71 Lakh** paid after completing 4 years of service. It includes the Agniveer's 30% monthly contribution + matching government contribution with interest.

Can Agniveers become permanent in the Army?

Yes. Up to **25% of each batch** may be enrolled into the regular cadre of the Indian Army based on merit-cum-preference, organizational requirements, and willingness of the Agniveer.

Can married candidates apply?

**No.** Only unmarried candidates are eligible for all Agniveer posts. The only exception is **JCO Religious Teacher**, which is open to both married and unmarried candidates.

What happens if I fail the physical test?

If you fail the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) or Physical Measurement Test (PMT), you will be **eliminated** from the selection process. There is generally no second chance for physical tests in the same recruitment cycle.
